Hi,
First and foremost, we hope everyone in the Middle East region is safe.
Our team is safe, and we’re here to support our founders, partners, and community however we can.
This week, we spoke with several founders who applied to our Virtual Accelerator.
A common theme came up in those conversations.
Uncertainty.
Many founders asked if now is the right time to move forward.
It’s a completely understandable reaction.
We’ve seen this pattern many times across markets.
Whenever uncertainty appears, some founders pause.
They assume investors will wait, partners will step back, and it’s better to slow down.
In reality, the ecosystem keeps moving. More often than not, faster than normal.
Investors continue investing.
Corporates continue exploring partnerships.
Governments continue pushing initiatives forward.
What actually changes is founder behavior.
Some founders step back while others keep executing and suddenly face less competition for attention.
Fewer decks.
Fewer meetings.
Fewer startups competing for the same capital and partnerships.
The founders who stay active during uncertain periods create the most momentum.
Not because the environment is easier.
Because fewer founders are willing to keep moving.
Uncertainty doesn’t stop opportunity.
It just filters who’s willing to pursue it.
To your momentum,
The Brinc Team
